Burn & Sculpt Through the Holidays

Time to hit the Cardio Burn & Sculpt video hard. It's a difficult season of eating and drinking and I need to keep up my momentum!! I also don't want to have to deny myself all season long. So far, I'm holding my own, thanks to Mitch's motivational approach and varied workouts. I plan to melt it off all the way through to the New Year.

Motivational Melting

It might be time to review Mitch's Winning Mind Set Motivational CD. Don't we all hit slumps in our workout schedule? Or in our eating habits? Turns out, Mitch Gaylord is a pretty motivational guy. I could use a personal coach right about now! And I find Mitch's motivational style genuine and effective. It sure does help to Melt it Off while cultivating a positive outlook and keeping my goals in mind.

Turkey Melt

How did you do with the holiday indulgence?? I have to say, I'm not proud of my eating. Not proud at all. And if it was just Thursday, I wouldn't be feeling so bad, but I admit that I've been eating too much for 3 days now! And I'm feeling it - I don't like feeling bloated and lethargic! Tomorrow is a new day and a new chance to begin again, caring for my body in every way - taking the opportunity to honor my health at each meal. Hey, that sounds much more satifying than stuffing my pie hole with... pie!! Melt It Off is calling my name - can't wait to get back to the workout and the good eating!

The Secret: Core Leverage

If you're trying to decide whether or not to take the plunge (though it's not a big money investment, let's face it) and get with Mitch... you might be wondering how it's so effective. The program really works because you burn more calories with Mitch's exercises than you do with most others. In fact, you'll burn up to 1,000 calories an hour. Holy smoke! The exercises focus on core leveraged action. How it affects your body is what makes all the difference. Give it a whirl. Your body will thank you.

Exercise for Positive Outlook

I have got to tell you. I've never felt this strong, toned and healthy in my life. Exercising regularly (and what better option is there, than Melt It Off with Mitch?) and eating right makes my body feel more alive and in control. And it gives me a more positive attitude about life in general - I feel more capable of doing whatever it is I want to do. If you haven't already, you should definitely try it.

What's Your Mission?

have you used the journal that came with mitch's 3 Day Melt program? i think it's quite meaningful in its approach. the book asks us to define our reason for beginning the program. for myself, it was to start doing something healthy for myself that would improve my cardiovascular health in addition to building and toning muscle. i'm not out for a super model's body, but i want more tone and definition in my arms and legs and a tighter tummy. and the derriere, too, of course. and the melt it off program delivers.

Melt It Off with Purpose

my entire day goes better when I make time for myself in the morning and exercise right off the bat. mitch gaylord is right when he discusses the importance of doing the melt it off program - and other forms of exercise you choose. he talks about how we're doing something for ourselves and that this is critical because you carry it with you throughout the rest of the day... and when you do that, you live with greater energy and purpose. love that!

Winter Workout

What, is it winter?? Temperatures are dropping outside, but I'm staying warm and melting it off thanks to the 3 Day Melt workout videos. High intensity cardio workout, mega calorie burning action, serious toning of the arms, shaping the shoulders, tightening the buns, burning the thighs. That's what I'm talking about! Winter, I welcome you - it's so much easier to burn up the calories when it isn't 100 degrees outside and all I want to do is lay by the pool. I'm loving these cool temperatures that make working out extra rewarding.

Pre-Winter Burn with Melt It Off

My priority right now is to burn calories! Fall is in the air, and I know that my interest in being really active wains as the weather cools off and the days get shorter. I'm trying to get to my fighting weight and really toned up with Melt It Off with Mitch before winter strikes. I won't stop exercising this winter, but I want to get to a maintenance level so that I'm happy with my body, and I just have to keep up what I've got.

Everyday Moves for a Strong Core

hey - have you used the Ultimate Core video that is a part of the 3-Day melt program? it says it's based on how our core moves in everyday living. that sounds particularly smart. strengthening your core muscles will give you a 6-pack if you're super focused on it. but it also just makes sense for good health and a toned body.

Melt Away 1,000 Calories

do you realize how effective the 3-day melt program is? when you sequence together the workouts in the order they tell you, the exercises create a workout that burns up to 1000 calories in one massive pop. well, maybe not in one chunk, but burns them all the same. that's more than half the calories i consume in a day. it's no wonder that the melt it off with mitch workouts help people lose so much weight so quickly.

Burn Calories When Your Not Working Out

the thing about mitch gaylord's high calorie melt workout is that it cranks up your metabolism. i can vouch for the fact that it kicks everything into high gear. Be ready for an intense workout. it's a full hour long workout, so block out some time for it and then let those calories melt away! did you know that when you stimulate your metabolism like that, it increases your burn rate even after you've settled into the couch again! so then it's like you're working out even when you're not.

G-Ball Leverages Core Action

that G-Ball is amazing. it leverages your core action to really heat things up. i think that because you have to hold onto it, consciously - because, let's face it, it could fly off and break your favorite lamp or your roommate's nose - really amps up its effectiveness. i could be wrong, but i think it activates more muscles throughout your arms that way. what do you think?

Melting It Off in Double Time

is it my imagination, or does summer send the clock into high gear? i swear the days last half as long - or, you know, there's twice as much to do and only 25% more daylight. the math just doesn't add up. where is the time for the hour long melt it off with mitch workouts, i ask you?! the 3 day melt should only take 1 day and a half in the mid summer weeks, i think!

Keep on Burning and Sculpting

it's the season for the Cardio Burn & Sculpt Workout. summer may not last forever, but it pays to keep up the melt it off workout. it takes just the 3 day melt to start seeing results, but you've got to keep up the exercising if you're going to keep progressing and seeing the changes you want to see in your body. just think - the heat is probably helping to accelerate your weight loss!

3 Day Melt Keeps You From Going Mental

Just a couple days not exercising (Melt It Off With Mitch) and I can tell the difference in my state of mind. My house has been full of dogs and mayhem and so I haven't done my daily routine. And sure enough, I've been moody and bummed out. I've just begun to put that right - having a nice long session... let's see how I feel tomorrow - I'm feeling hopeful.

Balance and Time

i'm happy to report that i didn't have to drive into the middle of nowhere afterall and my mood is much improved. melt it off with mitch can help a lot of things (thighs, buns, biceps, triceps, agility, core strength), and certainly exercise generally is good for mental balance and mood stability. but sometimes even a 3 day melt can't change ALL the circumstances of life. sometimes it just takes time and friends, a summer night on the patio and a bottle of gin.

Get Lost - Perfect 10 Prep

today all i can think about is driving into the middle of nowhere and getting lost for a while. i used to love camping... and then i figured out it's kind of a pain in the ass. but i am feeling the need right now to check out of my little fishbowl life and take a breather. i may not exactly be able to melt it off with mitch out there (wherever "out there" is) but the hard work with the G-ball and the lunges, perfect 10 cardiovascular workout, etc. will make hiking more enjoyable, to be sure. i think i've camped alone once in my life. i think. although i don't even have a vivid memory of that, so maybe i haven't even done that. i don't even own a tent. insert grin here. maybe just a day trip would be a better option. although, there's no real 'getting lost' sensation in a day trip. harumph. sleeping in the car? sounds pathetic. but maybe i could try being a dirtbag for a night. we'll see.

3 Day Melt Is Well Balanced

here's what i have to say about real-life chore-type exercise: it ain't no perfect 10 workout. it may melt it off, as they say, but it isn't a well-balanced workout, if you ask me. well, i suppose it might be if you average it all out and do EVERYTHING yourself. but i'm finding that so much of real life body work stresses and strains the back and uses the shoulders/upper back a lot. am i wrong here? and lots of squatting! which i know is great and i really can't think about a down side to that, but the tired back kind of concerns me that i'm overdoing it. anyway, i don't have this problem with the 3 day melt program. it seems, well, better balanced than some of the outdoorsy stuff i've been doing.

Never Enough Time for Everything

a wise older friend recently said that there just isn't enough time to do everything we want to do in our lives. i often feel like there isn't enough time in a day or week to do everything that needs to be done, but when she said those words in the context of her entire life... it really zoomed home for me. and not in a good way. it's almost too overwhelming to think about, really. i mean, just battling the day-in-day-out defeat of not accomplishing all the work and play and personal fulfillment projects is bad enough... but to think that life ends too soon and the to-do list will never be entirely crossed out... ugh. makes me wonder where in the priority list exercise should be. because on the one hand, doing something like the 3 day melt workout takes time. and on the other hand, it keeps me healthy and living better longer. so, maybe that 30 minutes to an hour a day of exercise is the best thing i can do in a day.

Superbody - Supertime

don't you wonder how many hours a day, or a week, the superbody superstars have to invest in their bodies? i think of someone like angelina jolie and wonder if it's a massive amount of time. i think the melt it off program does the trick in an hour or less a day. but, i'm no angelina, let's face it! really, though, you had better like your personal trainer if you're going to spend that kind of time together, right? i rather like having mitch gaylord as my personal trainer - without having to talk to the guy when i'm feeling grumpy or antisocial.

You've Gotta Work for the Six Pack

oh, so the conversation thread i loved in the message board i mentioned in my last post was flintchick (oh, i get it, flint michigan!) talking about how asskicking the workouts are. especially the "cardio burn and sculpt" and the "sizzlin abs" workouts. and you know what? she's right! mitch isn't messing around or promising something he ain't delivering. you've got to WORK to melt off the calories and pounds and to sculpt those abs and quads and butt and six pack. nothing comes easy, it turns out.

Burn it up and Melt it off

alright, i admit, i'm taking a minute to blog to you while i'm at work. don't tell the boss. i'm kind of burned up today and am totally looking forward to busting out of here and doing one of the melt it off with mitch workouts that kick my butt and leave me sweating and exhausted by the end. just ran across this board with a conversation about the 3 Day Melt - check it out.

Home Abs Workouts

have you compared any of the different home video abs workout programs? i'm wondering how the others - like the bender ball or ab secrets or crunchless abs ... stack up against mitch gaylord's Sizzlin' Abs Workout. do various ones yield different results when it comes to sculpting your 6-pack abs? do they all work your upper, lower and side obliques in their core workouts?

Burn Calories Not Pride

i'm curious what the average length of time is for ramping up one's endurance. is it just too varied to be a meaningful number? or is there some formula that applies to most people? i wonder. there's a distinctly different endurance requirement for each workout in the Melt It Off with Mitch series. anyone can lunge and squat their way through the 10 minute primer. but there just is no way to fake your way all the way through an hour-long aerobic workout, now is there? the High Calorie Melt™ Workout is one such workout that will burn calories, and singe your pride if you're not up to snuff. So, diligence, people - slow and steady wins the race to enduring all the way through one of these long workouts - it doesn't happen overnight. Be patient with yourself.

High Calorie Melt Workout - Favorite?!

tell me, tell me - what's your favorite workout in the Melt It Off with Mitch series of videos. the 3 Day Melt Kickstart is so encouraging, right? who doesn't like to see results right away?! but how about the Sizzlin' Abs workout or the High Calorie Melt workout - ass-kickin' exercising there. i've never worked so hard, i don't think.

Spring Cardio Workout

alright. even though i'm still rolling to work late everyday, it isn't the fault of daylight savings anymore. NOW, i want to stay outside all the time. i've been taking my dog for a walk every morning and evening (something i do not do when there's snow on the ground), which is definitely crowding into my 3 Day Melt/Melt It Off With Mitch time. i'm relishing every scrap of sunshine today because it's supposed to freeze up again tomorrow night. i'll no doubt be back to mitch and his killer g-ball, as snow or rain are going to turn the fields soggy - a mudbath for pooch. i suppose most people in a 4-season clime change their workout weapon at least a couple times a year. mitch gaylord is my fitness trainer all winter, for sure. i mean, what can beat his Cardio Burn and Sculpt Workout?

Evening Exercise

daylight savings time is not my favorite concept. at least not now that i live in a wintery place. snow boots and light-till-late don't mix, as far as i'm concerned. i wonder, has the time shift affected your workout schedule? i prefer exercise in the morning, and i know that some of the melt it off workouts are short, but now that it's dark forever in the a.m. again, there's no way i'm exercising in the morning... not for a while. it's evenings for exercise now.

Melt It Off - What You Get

in case you need a little help on the organizational side of things, mitch gaylord's "melt it off" program might just have the hand-holding tools you're looking for. it isn't just dvds. there's also the g-ball (it'll really kick your butt, btw) plus low-fat recipes and meal plans, a rotation calendar, journal and lots of inspiration. the "3 day melt" gets you off to a great start.

3 Day Melt Better Than Yoga

i went to this yoga class a few days ago and totally strained my back. i never have back issues, but it really bothered me at bedtime for a couple of nights. not to slam yoga, but i've never felt like that when doing the 3 day melt / melt it off with mitch. sore muscles, yes, but never that sort of strain before. ugh!

Tuesday, February 3, 2009

G-Ball

that G-Ball is amazing. it leverages your core action to really heat things up. i think that because you have to hold onto it, consciously - because, let's face it, it could fly off and break your favorite lamp or your roommate's nose - really amps up its effectiveness. i could be wrong, but i think it activates more muscles throughout your arms that way. what do you think?

Ultimate Core

i'm curious to know if anyone has used the Ultimate Core video that's part of the 3-Day melt program. it says it's based on how our core moves in everyday living. that sounds really smart. strengthening your core muscles sure will give you a 6-pack if you're super focused on it, but also just makes sense for good health and a toned body.

Melt It Off

i'd love to know if anybody out there has a favorite Melt It Off DVD ... or if you use them in a certain rotation to keep your workouts fresh and interesting. have you used the Cardio Burn & Sculpt DVD yet? let me know what your experience has been. thanks!

Melt It Off ... Forever

CONSISTENCY - that is the key ingredient mitch gaylord talks about in his 3 Day Melt program that makes the difference between bronze - silver - gold. it's also what makes the difference between yo-yo weight loss and weight gain ... and the ability to lose weight forever. to be consistent in your diet and exercise means maintaining consistent weight. we can do it. YES WE CAN!

Melts Away the Fat

it's no surprise that the people on the testimonial page at the 3 day melt site lost all that weight. the melt it off program really works your muscles and melts away the fat. it's hard work and well worth it. it just requires the very simple g-ball, great video instruction and commitment!
