Melt It Off for Yourself

There’s a funny thing about making time for exercise first thing in the day. So often it seems that there just isn’t enough time for it. But when I take that little chunk of time in the morning to do what is good for my body and my mind, it gifts me extra time and energy throughout the day. I have better focus, better endurance, and a better outlook because I’ve gotten the day off on the right foot. In the Melt It Off with Mitch program, Mitch Gaylord talks about this idea of doing something for YOU. 3 Day Melt's Six Pack Abs Plan

Dream it, live it, and get it. That’s the Gold Medal Fitness motto, says Mitch Gaylord. I just did the Rapid Results Ab Workout… and my abs are still clenched! That is the most intense crunchless abs workout I’ve ever done, bar none. If you want the rock-hard six-pack abs that gymnasts have, you’ve got to work seriously hard. There’s no easy way to achieve gorgeous sculpted abs – you’ve got to put in the time and reps. You can have nice, toned abs, I’m sure, with a less strenuous regimen. But if you want chiseled abs, you’ll need a video like this one. Mitch leads you through various straight-forward exercises, many using the G-ball. None of them are complicated. But there certainly are a couple on there that he makes look so easy, and then I tried it and couldn’t even get my body to do what I was telling it to do. I think it was the pike-up. Wow. I like having something to work toward – you know, when you do the same workout over and over and feel yourself mastering the moves more precisely each time. You are going to feel the burn in every abdominal muscle you own. And also in your thighs – inner thighs, especially, but also your quads. And your butt even gets a workout, and so do your arms. But most especially, your entire core is going to thank you.

No Limits on Your Fitness

Good news! I’m already feeling a difference – an improvement – in my strength. I love putting my indoor workouts to the test by taking them outdoors onto a trail with a friend. This week I’ve more than doubled my hiking distance. Let’s see… I think I’ve exactly tripled it from when I began hiking this area a few months ago. It used to make me a little nauseous to get to the highest elevation point before I turned around. Now, I trek on and could keep on going, if it wasn’t for having to get back to work! That’s a sensational feeling, to know that it is time that’s constraining me, as opposed to ability and endurance. As I’m heading up a gentle incline, it’s great to feel my quads working and feeling really, noticeably stronger – not wincing or asking me to stop, but happily working their way up the hill, seemingly able to climb forever. Hurray! The 3 Day Melt isn’t just about losing weight – it’s very much about a healthy lifestyle, a permanent change in your body and your outlook on your own ability to keep fit. You’ll Melt it Off, alright, but you’ll also get hooked on that healthy feeling of being strong and able to move about wherever your mind wants you to, as opposed to wherever your body would previously have allowed you to.

Sexy Thighs

What could possibly be better for building shapely thighs than squats and lunges? I can’t imagine a superior exercise to lunges for toning up the thighs and building stronger quad muscles. So many of us are unhappy with the shape and quality of our thighs. Am I right? Mine have always seemed flaccid and uninteresting. I long to have those hard, sculpted thighs that some women have who sport really, really sexy legs. Of course I want calves that are curvy and strong, too, but they just aren’t as much of a challenge for me. The lack of muscle mass in my thighs also makes it more of a challenge on bike rides and hikes. And I want to keep up with my friends – in fact, to be perfectly honest, I seldom go do outdoorsy things with my friends because I’ve always been the girl bringing up the rear, struggling to stay within a reasonable distance of everyone else. It’s such a struggle. I’ve always been a pretty weak contender. Well, gone are those days!!! The Melt it Off workouts are of course really well-rounded, but a serious number of lunges are so great for creating sexy thighs and bum. Mitch’s 3 Day Melt will whip your stems into shape!

Melt It Off and Warm It Up

If you haven't worn yourself out by the time you're done with one of Mitch's workouts, you'll find that your body is nice and warmed up and ready for anything after doing the Melt It Off routine. I seem to have a habit of straining some muscle or another when I'm hiking. Doing Mitch's program first thing in the am. warms up my muslces (in addition to working them!) and ups my energy.
